Jason S. Starr, DO, will be the featured guest for Luncheon with the Experts Facebook Live on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 12 noon EST. A medical oncologist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Starr specializes in gastrointestinal malignancies and treats patients with neuroendocrine tumors, neuroendocrine carcinoma, colon cancer, esophageal cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, and stomach cancer.
Dr. Starr has a special interest in NETs and is committed to advancing the field through clinical research through the development and enrollment of clinical trials. Dr. Starr served a two-year term on the NCI (National Cancer Institute) Neuroendocrine Tumor Task Force and recently accepted an appointment to the NANETS (North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society) Communications Committee. “The greatest joy of my career is the interaction and relationships I am able to have with my patients,” says Dr. Starr.
